“Spectrum of Time,” completed in October 2022 for the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the City of Las Vegas.

The mural artwork on the façade of the Museum will serve as a vibrant backdrop for a large elephant relief sculpture that will be mounted to the wall in the center of the mural. The artwork concept represents my colorful interpretation of the passage of time, from early prehistoric to current day; which is a goal of the Museum – to display a vast spectrum of natural history.

I was selected in a Call for Art for the project by the City of Las Vegas and the Museum to complete the artwork, and I couldn’t be more honored for such an accomplishment in my career.

The wall measures 75’ wide x 15’ tall and took 10 days to complete.

“Magic of the Desert,” completed in August 2022 for Springs Preserve and the Las Vegas Valley Water District.

The artwork is located at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, inside their Sustainability Gallery and Nature Exchange space. The space is a family friendly atmosphere the educates and provides fun opportunities for all ages.

The mural artwork represents the water cycle through a flowing circular composition, and features multiple desert flora and fauna including the coyote, quail, flowering agave plant, and more.

The artwork was created on two walls, activating the space and creating an illusion with the corner of the walls. The artwork measures a total of 40’ wide by 12’ tall.

Completed a pair of murals in June 2022 for Starbucks Corporation at a local Henderson Starbucks titled, “The Lone Pollinator” and “The Dance of the Pollinators.”

The pieces feature hummingbirds and familiar desert flora to the Las Vegas area, which many guests of the store should be able to relate to. Hummingbirds are magical desert birds that appear across the Vegas Valley and while they seem elusive and rare, they are also important animals to our ecosystem, and help to pollinate the flora across the valley. The flora referenced in the artworks are columnar cacti and callistemon plants – all familiar flora of the area. The natural elements are balanced with geometric elements with soft multicolor and pastel tones to complement the modern environment within the space, and offer an approachable design that many can appreciate and examine as they see fit while in the space.

The main artwork measures 25’ x 6’ and the secondary artwork measure’s 10’ x 6’.

“Life: Everything is Connected” was completed in May 2022 for Matter Real Estate Group and the newest mixed-use community development, UnCommons, located in southwest Las Vegas.

The artwork utilizes a natural ribbed grid of raised slats on a metal architectural wall of one of the brilliantly designed spaces within UnCommons. The composition uses this metal slat grid to create a series of rectangles, cross sections, and geometry, all patterned off the wall’s architecture, and ultimately spell out in giant letters, the word “LIFE.”

The sections created by the grid showcase snippets of the nearby Red Rock and desert landscapes, technicolor sunsets familiar to Las Vegas, and abstracted fields of color and texture that allow wonder to play a part in the viewer’s experience with the artwork. The slat pattern of the wall creates an unexpected surprise for the viewer as a lenticular effect is formed when walking by the artwork, causing the mural to appear and disappear depending on the angle at which it is viewed.

Overall, the artwork represents many facets of “Life” including the highs, lows, excitement, stillness, dark, light, the tangible, the abstract, community, individualism, play, work, and everything else between.

The artwork measures 80’ wide x 20’ tall and covers about 70% of the space.

“Nature’s Code,” completed in November 2021 for TSK Architects as part of Henderson, NV’s “Mural Week” in the newly invigorated downtown Water Street District.

Nature’s Code is synonymous with the Fibonacci series and the golden ratio – mathematical patterns that are found throughout nature, and a basic template in artworks to create a visually pleasing composition. I arranged the elements in this piece to mimic the curve of the golden ratio, balancing randomness with order, and hard-edge geometry with organic natural elements.

The artwork measures 12’ wide x 6’ tall, and is flanked by five other artworks by some of Las Vegas’ most prolific artists.

“Garden of Ayin,” private residence mural commission completed in June 2022 in Portland, OR.

Titled after the first letter of their son’s name in Hebrew - Ayin- which “helper” is one of its meanings. The multiple suns and the rain represent “helper” as they help plants and nature grow all around us. The family has fruit trees planted, so included in the artwork is a pear, pomegranate, and a bunch of cherries to represent their garden. Since these are family friends, I was able to include representation of my boys in the piece – a sage plant for Sage, and tree line of pines for Oren (pine in Hebrew). This piece lives amongst the family’s garden and the lush Portland tree-filled landscape.

Titled, “Sacred Ecology,” this is another recent favorite murals of mine, which incorporates elements of desert ecology combined with sacred geometry. This piece lives as a colorful backdrop to a new outdoor event space and farm in Northwest Las Vegas, called GreenGale Farms.

GreenGale Farms boasts a huge area of farmland and forests, including a palm tree forest, fruit and olive tree groves, as well as an array of different type of wildlife and a preserve for rescued farm animals – including a buffalo! I was able to incorporate some of the wildlife found at the farm into the piece, which includes a coyote and an owl, and flora such as sunflowers, palm trees, and cacti. I studied a bit of sacred geometry for this piece, and focused on Metatron’s cube and the different shapes that come from this one shape philosophy.

The piece measures 25’ x 13’ at the tallest point, and was completed in March of 2021.

‘Connecting Then and Now’ is a pair of related murals on one corner of the historic John E. Carson building, in an extremely popular and iconic part of Downtown Las Vegas. I worked with the renowned DTP (formerly Downtown Project) to create a couple of my most favorite pieces to date on a building and corner that I am absolutely honored to have work on.

I was tasked with creating two abstract pieces that considered the mid-century era of the building and that were eye-catching from all viewpoints to draw attention to the freshly renovated historic building. I ended up being heavily inspired by breezeblock patterns, which are iconic of the mid-century era of design, and incorporated my usual vibrant and psychedelia-inspired patterns and geometry found in other works.

Both pieces measure about 25’ x 8’ and were completed in May of 2021.

With a working title of “A Place to Gather; A Place to Eat,” this mural artwork was completed in May 2021 for Resorts World Las Vegas, in their back of house area of the resort.

I was included as one of a few artists in their local art program, to beautify their back of house, and offer some top tier local artwork to a normally drab and plain area that employees pass through at all hours of the day. The artwork references many different foods served at the TDR from pizza, sushi, broccoli, avocado, and more. The realistically painted food items are combined with intricate geometry and line-work collaged throughout the piece.

This artwork lives at the entrance of the Team Dining Room, and offers a fun and vibrant welcome to employees as they arrive to sit down for a meal with their colleagues.

Completed in April 2021 for The Noise Project inside Fergusons Downtown in downtown Las Vegas.

The concentric circles, vibrant colors, and abstract nature of this piece represent love, connection, vibrations, calmness, order within chaos, joy, peaceful noise, growth, and all around positivity that The Noise Project values, supporting their mission of mental health awareness within their space. This piece welcomes all to not only a salon filled with super talented hair artisans, but a place of uplift and empowerment, and in its simplest form, the mural is a pop of luscious color and a subtle reminder to coninuously feel and express one’s self.

The artwork measures 20’ wide x 8’ tall.

Commissioned by the renowned art collective, Meow Wolf, to create an immersive mural installation in a hallway corridor at their new and monumental interactive and immersive art exhibit, OmegaMart, at Area-15 in Las Vegas, NV.

My installation is titled, “Op Art Overload,” and is an exploration of optical art and black and white patterns collaged and repeated over the entirety of a hallway, including the ceiling. The black and white patterns create a feeling of disorientation and vibrated vision. I included pops of color to the black and white in the forms of floating shapes and linework, creating depth and movement within the piece.

The installation as part of Meow Wolf’s permanent exhibit is paired with custom lighting and sound design to create an ambient and dynamic feeling when one traverses the hallway.

The overall piece is painted over two 25’ x 10’ walls and a 6’ x 25’ ceiling surface, and was completed in November of 2020.

I was commissioned by Circa Resort & Casino to come back and paint a large utility box that was an eye-sore directly outside of their state-of-the-art parking garage, Garage Mahal. Circa wanted me to create a piece that related design-wise to the artwork I completed on the entire first level of Garage Mahal, but also add more pops of color that show up in their overall brand. I created this pattern of stacked geometric shapes and casino icons that are found in the previous Garage Mahal artwork. This pattern approach allowed for a more dynamic composition that covered the entire utility box, including the top, and I was able to incorporate much more color and patterns within the stacked shapes. The utility box went from eye-sore to a colorful and vibrant focal point to welcome guests to the garage.

The overall dimensions of the utility box are 18’ x 7’ x 7’ and took about 4 days of painting to complete in July of 2021.

My most monumental mural to date – “Window into the Multiverse” is painted on the west side of Area 15, in which the entire wall spans 400 feet wide and 40 feet tall, and completed in March of 2020. I was commissioned for this project as a collaborating artist with the famed Meow Wolf artist collective and immersive art experience. Area 15 is going to be Meow Wolf’s new satellite location for their one-of-a-kind immersive art exhibit, to which I was the first collaborating artist to make their mark representing Meow Wolf in Las Vegas.

For this piece, Meow Wolf asked me to create a completely original work of art, with the idea that it would be my interpretation of Meow Wolf as well as Las Vegas. I basically reached into my entire repertoire and bag of techniques and created another world based on my fusion of geometry, patterns, desert landscape and flora, and overall psychedelia. I created what feels to be a window or tear into the wall that peers onto multiple worlds, with portals and objects colliding and interacting with one another. The abstraction and realism combined creating a story that reminded me of my experience of the original Meow Wolf exhibit (House of Eternal Return) in Santa Fe, NM. Las Vegas is represented through the desert landscape as well as the vibrancy and dynamics of the scenery.

This project took eight 40 hour work weeks to complete, and was hand painted by myself and my assistant, Derrick Beyenka, using over 30 different colors and 200+ gallons of paint. No projections were used – just an original design mocked up digitally, which I scaled up using the natural grid on the wall to complete.

‘An Allegory of Natural Beauty,’ roughly 140ft x 25ft. Created for Life Is Beautiful Festival 2019, as a selected muralist on their 2019 artist lineup.

I wanted to express multiple interpretations of the idea of “beauty” through my lens, in a cohesive yet segmented manner. My mind immediately goes to color, geometry, nature, the balance of life and death/dark and light, and how these elements blend, deconstruct, and flow against and within one another. The goal was to create different moments and areas for festival-goers to interact and engage with (and surprises that weren’t planned on, like so many people hopping onto the lower wall portion).

One of my favorite elements of the piece was added right before painting, when the LIB team built an impressive wood facade (the upper portion) to cover a beat up, dual-level building that I was originally going to paint and solve for within the piece. Once I realized I was going to have a clean, smooth surface, I added my interpretation of a Fibonacci/Golden Ratio curved thin line (mathematical beauty) which flows through the upper area and allows the viewers eye to flow through the piece.

This project was curated by Kevin Barry Art Advisory, and I was tasked with designing an entire look-and-feel, along with painting three large scale mural installations, to transform the first floor of the new Circa Resort and Casino’s treasured parking garage, Garage Mahal. The three areas of murals measure 300 ft, 200 ft, and 100 ft wide respectively, with some areas as tall as 22 ft. The artwork is meant to reflect the timeless brand of Circa, vintage casino iconography, and incorporate my style of work with geometry, patterns, and warm gradiated color. Everything was hand-painted with a brush or roller, including the text, and was all meant to look extremely crisp – almost like wallpaper from afar – but painterly upon closer inspection.

This project took about two and a half months to complete, working from early August to late October, 2020.

Added a little wavy flair to Peyote, a new restaurant at the ever-popular Fergusons in Downtown Las Vegas. Peyote’s brand is inspired by a psychedelic version of Palm Springs/Coachella-esque, and this wavy mural serves a great addition and fun detail to their outdoor space. I absolutely love painting this wave pattern and incorporate it a lot in my works, but this was a great opportunity to only paint the pattern itself. I utilized Peyote’s brand colors which feature pale greens, soft corals, and other colors inspired by the desert.

This piece measures about 15’ x 4’ and was completed in June of 2021.

Commissioned by the City of Henderson to paint a newly installed cement bench in the heart of Downtown Henderson, NV in the Water Street District. The goal was to create a public piece of art inspired by “water,” which I interpreted in an abstract and colorful manner. I balanced an organic, wave-like water motif, with a geometric and pixelated version of the same thought process. The idea being that water reflects all colors beyond the typical blues and greens, which adds a pop of color to the Water Street District.

This project was completed in November, 2020.

For this piece, the folks at C3 asked for a piece that was abstract, textured, and geometric. This was one of my most freeing and intuitive murals, in that I went into it with a very loose sketch, and just used my intuition with progressing the piece. This process allowed myself to loosen all restraints and create a purely expressive artwork. Titled “Community,” based on one of C3’s pillars (community, coffee, and conversation), and also references the ever-growing and dynamic Las Vegas arts community, as well as metaphorically bringing together a multitude of color, mark-making, and forms.

Private commission for the Spann family at The Doyle, a one-of-a-kind wedding, events, and art space in Downtown Las Vegas. This piece incorporates their beloved alpacas, Olaf and Bob Marley, who live on the property.

This piece is especially meaningful to Kira and myself as we will be getting married at The Doyle in January 2020.

This mural, titled “Sow the Seed,” was painted in one-day on a boiling hot summer day in Vegas, and lives in Downtown Las Vegas in the beautifully revitalized and classic Main Street District (Main St. and Imperial). This piece is meant to inspire the neighborhood, locals and visitors alike, to sow their seed, or plant their seed – to make the first move to start that passion project, to do whatever they set their hearts and minds to, to stand up for what is right – to just begin with planting the seed, and watching their visions grow into a reality.

This project was curated by Recycled Propaganda for August 2020’s virtual First Friday.

This mural was commissioned for a private fashion event, called Commotion!, that took place during fashion week in Las Vegas (Magic Convention, Agenda Show, etc). The mural is painted on the entryway to “The Alley” which is a community driven event space, lead by the change-making organization Ferguson’s Downtown, in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. This piece is titled “Look Deep” and encourages viewers to take a moment of solace and look within themselves through an introspective geometric landscape. Completed February 2019.

Mural project for Cultivate Dispensary in a bustling part of Chinatown in Las Vegas, right off of The Strip. The entire project consisted of three utility box paintings and an 80 ft x 15 ft wall mural. This piece interprets the mountainous landscape surrounding Las Vegas through a vibrant, kaleidoscope and abstracted lens, creating a colorful landmark that draws viewers in from afar, and invites visitors to take photos with a colorful background. Completed April 2019.

Private mural commission completed in March 2019 in a revitalized mid-century neighborhood in Downtown Las Vegas. The mountains in this piece references a mountain range in Bali that the clients visited, and is meant to add joyous energy and dreamlike vibes to the flow of their backyard space.

Private mural commission for some close friends in their garage turned hang-out space. Titled, “Beneath the Waves,” as I think of waves, not only do I think of water, I also think of layers and wavelengths and time, light rays and sound waves, color and contrast as waves, and all of these multiverses flowing over each other, through each other, an for a moment I try to capture what this may look like and feel like.

Mural painted for a couple of great friends’ new baby’s nursery. Inspired by a trip we took last year to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO to see a mutually favorite artist – Odesza. This piece measures just over 4ft diameter.

Commissioned by the CMO of The Venetian Las Vegas to add some vibrant and original art to the marketing office of The Venetian and The Palazzo. "Panorama Futuro," or "Future Landscape" in Italian, is meant to have a dual meaning – representing both an image of literally a futuristic landscape and also referring to how marketers are tasked with laying out marketing plans for weeks and months to come. The Italian term harkens back to the property's heritage, as well as my own nationality.

Mural painted for Ferguson’s Market in the Alley, in downtown Las Vegas. This piece was showcased during Life Is Beautiful festival in 2018. The inspiration behind this mural lies within the title – it takes a hell of a lot of courage and bravery to make work you are passionate about. Whether that be the courage to just begin, the courage to challenge oneself, the courage to share the work with the world, or the microcosms in facing one’s fears – like climbing up a 22 foot ladder when you are afraid of heights. This piece roughly measures 15ft wide by 20ft tall. Created with the immense help of my girlfriend, and lead assistant, Kira (also under the watchful eye’s of our dogs Lola and Kismet).

Commissioned by Life Is Beautiful to put my own twist on their namesake. This piece immediately became a go-to backdrop for photos during the festival.

Interior graphic mural inside of Vegenation in Downtown Las Vegas, completed in February 2019. This is the second iteration of the original design installed in Vegenation’s Henderson location back in 2018. Inspired by the surrounding mountain ranges and desert flora of Las Vegas, abstracted into a lively geometric field of color and shape. 

This entire mural is laminated vinyl, which I designed originally in Adobe Illustrator and then was produced by a local wall graphics company, Walls360. Installation by Las Vegas Wrap Specialists, with on-site art direction by myself.

Interior graphic mural inside of Vegenation in Henderson, NV. Inspired by the surrounding mountain range, abstracted into a lively geometric field of crags. Collaborated with the creative director of the company to create something for the space that offset the organic elements found throughout the restaurant, but still compliment some of the subtle geometric touches in the space. The color palette matches some other local artwork inside the restaurant to tie everything together with vibrance and warmth.

This entire mural is laminated vinyl, with hand-cut edges, which I designed originally in Adobe Illustrator and then was produced by a local wall graphics company, Walls360. Installed by my buddy Spencer Olsen and myself.

Selected by and worked with the Cultural Corridor Coalition to transform a rundown building, the former Ukulele Lounge, into a vibrant landmark that would be anchor for a beautification process of the Cultural Corridor area of Downtown Las Vegas (an area of downtown that is sometimes forgotten).

This name's meaning comes in many layers: the struggle of the artist, the struggle of the building, the struggle of the community, the struggle of each individual living in that community, the struggle of culture in Las Vegas, and so on. Greater or lesser, we all learn from our struggles as they add character and shape our existence. It's the positive response from said struggles that is what this mural represents. This piece is bright and colorful, and meant to be a visual landmark that radiates positivity in the simplest of forms and human touch.

This piece is one of the largest murals in Las Vegas, with paint covering over 270' x 20' of wall space.

Couldn't have completed it without my amazing team of artists and friends, and the support from the Cultural Corridor Coalition and community.

Volunteered to paint this very special mural at Helen Herr Elementary School in Las Vegas, as part of a larger beautification project put on by The Venetian's charitable arm, "Sands Cares." This mural depicts the school's beautiful adjacent landscape and view of Sunrise Mountain, as well as the school's mascot – the Skyhawk – soaring over the landscape. The image is meant to bring vibrancy as students, faculty, and community enter the school, as well as act as a symbol to empower students to think outside the box and to always soar to new heights to reach their goals.

This particular box (the largest one of three for this project) is dedicated to my parents, as well as Lone Mountain, which is exactly that – a small, lone mountain – and a part of my Everyday. My Dad, who passed away in 2015, is also buried at the cemetery down the road from here, which adds to this piece's importance. I grew up in this neighborhood so all of my utility box designs relate to my family and my experience living (at the time was) out on the edge of town. This is where I discovered my love and respect for the desert and the local flora and fauna of Las Vegas.

This is where I discovered my love and respect for the desert and the local flora and fauna of Las Vegas.

The final box design I completed for this project – which is a little more light-hearted – is dedicated to my brothers and I; calling this part of the Valley home, learning these streets like backs of our hands, and just living a very colorful childhood.

Private mural commission for some new friends in a small, open-air atrium space at their home. A unique challenge painting crisp lines on a heavily-textured stucco surface. This piece is meant to be an accent and backdrop for a soon-to-be lush and green garden which will fill the atrium.

Invited by the ISI Group, and collaborated with local artist, Spencer Olsen, to paint two sets of doors at the Linq Promenade just off of The Strip. Pictured are both sets of doors (normally separated by about 20 yards) fused together to create a funky and futuristic representation of "entertainment." Our interpretation was, with any sort of entertainment, you pay a ticket or entry price, and never really know what to expect – hopefully it's an explosion of excitement that exceeds any expectations.

Selected as an artist to participate in the Art Motel at the 2015 Life Is Beautiful Festival. Painted a piece that was the focal point in the motel among 50+ other artists from Las Vegas and the surrounding southwest states. Collaborated with Spencer Olsen on this 63' x 8' mural – my portion being 40' wide and inspired by Las Vegas' surrounding environment and the popular song, "Day N' Nite," by Kid Cudi (an artist who was supposed to be on the lineup, but unexpectedly had to cancel).

Invited to paint a large "mobile mural" by Guerrilla Kage – a local artist collective, who's goal is to showcase art in the streets (not just the galleries) of the Las Vegas Arts District. This piece was painted live during First Friday, Las Vegas' monthly downtown arts festival in the heart of the 18B Arts District.

This box was created purely out of intuition, and another opportunity for me to combine color, pattern, and texture – this time, on a 3-dimensional surface. I envisioned a galactic artifact, split into warm and cool hemispheres, covered in humanistic markings, emerging out of a cosmic goo.

As a proud UNLV alum and an avid basketball fan – particularly a diehard Runnin' Rebels fan – I wanted to paint something for the University that was just two blocks down the street. With the recent passing of legendary UNLV coach, college basketball hall-of-famer, and Las Vegas icon, Jerry Tarkanian, I felt it was only fitting to create a memorial for "Tark The Shark," (the nickname he was famously known by), complete with towel-in-mouth – a gesture Tark made signature. Like most of my works, I abstracted my idea and juxtaposed patterns, which symbolize the hardwood floor of a basketball court, and the "Scarlet and Gray" representative of UNLV. Another story behind this piece – my family has always been lovers of basketball, especially my father, who was recently battling cancer for the past year and a half. While I was finishing this piece, a tragic turn of events occurred for my family, and my father lost his tough battle, and passed peacefully on April 11, 2015 at UCLA Medical Center. When I came back to Las Vegas from LA, I needed to finish this piece, and felt it was only right to memorialize my father in conjunction with Jerry Tarkanian. Two Las Vegas legends that now have a permanent mark on Maryland Parkway.

This piece is inspired by Las Vegas' surrounding environment – the Mojave Desert. I chose to abstract the familiar rock formations, notably those found in Red Rock Canyon.

Born and raised in the desert, I've always had an affinity for the familiar surroundings – especially the native plants. Cacti are such intriguing organisms, and almost as alien as a plant can get. For this small box, I've combined rendered forms with wrapping patterns, producing some truly unusual flora.

Inspired by the Talking Heads song, the phrase "This must be the place" is meant to be interpreted literally (as in physically, this must be the place to live) and conceptually (this must be the place, in one's life).

My buddy, Logan – owner of a local hand-made furniture and lighting company, onefortythree.com – wanted some painting done in his shop, so the facade of this large heavy-duty sander was the perfect canvas for some pattern and color.

Invited to paint a large "mobile mural" by Guerrilla Kage – a local artist collective, who's goal is to showcase art in the streets (not just the galleries) of the Las Vegas Arts District. This piece was painted live during First Friday, Las Vegas' monthly downtown arts festival in the heart of the 18B Arts District. Using my love for patterns, texture, and color, "It Is All One," reflects the existential notion that all matter and energy is made up of the same stuff –stardust – just occurring in different forms at different times.

Selected by Las Vegas artist, Miguel Rodriguez, with the honorable task of transforming one of his sculpted steel butterflies, which would be permanently displayed inside of Springs Preserve – a 180-acre conservatory in Las Vegas, showcasing desert and botanical gardens. The concept behind this piece was inspired by some species of butterflies' natural defense mechanisms of illusionistic color combinations, which sometimes resemble the eyes of what seems to be a larger creature. I decided to exaggerate that aesthetic with highly contrasting patterns and bold colors. The goal was to allow my butterfly to stand out in any sort of environment, as opposed to being camouflaged with the surroundings.
